Catch pads are held under the joint to catch excess molten lead run-off while you pour and wipe a lead sleeve. Each catch pad has a pocket for a 3/16" wool felt insert that absorbs the heat, and both are reusable until they wear out. Choose 6x6, 6x8 or 7x9, and stock up on replacement felt inserts.
